This was my 2nd Vertigo show, and 19th show overall. Me and my friend made it into the ellipse, and had a great spot on Adam's side on the ellipse railing.
The show was completely awesome! I thought it was better than Philly 1 (probably because I was in the back of GA for Philly 1). Bono stood on the ramps right in front of us for much longer than I thought he would. Highlights for me were City of Blinding Lights, Gloria, Beautiful Day, Sometimes... (Bono was right in front of me for most of this one!!), Sunday Bloody Sundy, The Fly, and BAD/40! Bad was in classic form tonight!!!! I was completely satisfied with that ending! The Ocean had the more recent U2 fans puzzled, but I enjoyed it. The lull for me was during Bullet. Pride seemed to drag a bit....are they playing it at a slower tempo?? I miss lights during Streets too.
Overall, a very positive experience and I was completely satisfied! And I am so thankful that I was able to have such a good spot in the ellipse! Thanks guys!
