I attended U2's first ever concert in Brisbane in September 1984. I queued overnight for tickets a few months earlier, was first in line and bought the entire front row and part of the second row for myself and a stack of uni friends. Festival Hall (since pulled down) was a great venue as you were up close with the band. The guys played all of their hits from Boy, October, War and Unforgettable Fire making it an unforgettable night.
