U2 did it again last night at the First Union Center. This was my 3rd u2 concert on the Elevation Tour (all 3 in Philadelphia) and this past concert was by far the best concert.
I was right outside the heart, and when U2 played "Elevation" I swear the crowd was so loud I couldn't hear a word of the song. Bono seemed to love this going even more crazy then normal. The whole set list was great and the addition of "Out Of Control" made the concert worth any price! During "Out Of Control" Bono told a story of U2's first time playing in Philadelphia and turning on the radio and hearing their first single on WMMR (philly's favorite rock station!) for the first time ever! That was really cool for the philly people there!
Truly an unreal event. On a personal note I just wanted to say thank you to a young lady i met at the show. She stood next to me during the whole show and had some trouble with the people behind her. At the end of the concert she paid me the great compliant I have ever received and to this second I am still speechless. I hope she reads this and even emails me. I want to tell her thank you very much and god bless her and her friend! I guess that is the love you can always find at a U2 show!!!
ps- Stereophonics are a great opening act enjoy them on the rest of the tour!
