I'm not really sure where to start. This is my first U2 show and had no interest in seeing PJ harvey so I stayed in a local bar until 830. This was also my first time in the Fleet Center. My friend, that I went with and I were amazed how close we were to the stage. If I had a baseball I could have hit the band.
But the show itself was great. The only critique is that The Edge's guitar could be turned down just a bit so that it doesn't distort but when the first note of Elevation started playing the place became deafening. I was amazed at how much energy Bono had during the show. He did a flat-out sprint of the stage then jumped into a verse of the song they were playing. The night was topped off when I saw U2's manager walk by. What a night, what a show. It's all over....
