This was my fifth U2 show and overall I give it a thumbs up but it was not the best U2 show I have been to. The show was very professional but did not feel very personal like shows from the Elevation tour. Bono did not bring anyone up on stage nor did he really interact much with the crowd. The set list was too predictable and similar to many other shows on the tour so far. That being said, U2 still outperforms just about anyone so even a mediocre U2 show is better that a great show by just about anyone else in my opinion.
Sitting in the premium section stage left about two thirds of the way across the arena left me wondering why these seats were $165 each. It also sounded like the volume was up a little too high at the start of the show as I could not understand what Bono was singing/saying right away. The stage was a little too much like Elevation too, same/similar 4 screens above the stage focusing on the 4 members, a circle instead of a heart for Bono to walk around. It looked like the best seats were still the general admission/floor. I'll be there in October!
