This was about my 14th U2 show. I agree with basically everyone else...a good show but nothing special. I thought the sound was a bit muddy. Usually the sound in the Fleet, er Bank North Garden is pretty good. Last night, I thought it was not so good. Also, to me, they seemed to basically go through the motions. I will say the crowd was into it from start to finish. But, the set list was quite predictable and that is the major flaw of this band and has been for the past 3 tours. While the staging/lighting is fantastic, I would and I'm sure most anyone else would give that up to see an off the cuff sort of show where they just play whatever. They have such an enormous catalog of songs to choose from. As fans, we all go for the music, not the visuals. I'm hoping that Thursday and Saturday will be better.
