Lifelong fan here (some of my earliest memories are of my mother singing along to the War album) but this was my first time seeing U2. Have to say I shed a few tears during the opening number. My seat was at the top of the balcony, literally against the back wall, but I moved down later in the show. The lighting effects are unbelievable. For me the highlights of the show were Bullet the Blue Sky and the Zoo Station/Fly encore opener. I thought the sound was ok although it was hard to hear Bono when he would just talk to the audience, singing was clear. What most impressed me about the show was the Edge's amazing solos, especially during the Fly. I don't understand why he doesnt get more recognition. Loved the show so much I arrainged to get a ticket to saturday as well! Hopefully they'll do Gloria, my favorite of favorite songs!
