First of all, I want to say thank you to U2. This could not have been a better show.
The setlist was perfect. The addition of "Out of Control" brought the house down. I thought the crowd was spectacular on this night. There were times Bono was mouthing "Wow" because it was so LOUD! New songs sounded wonderful. Miracle Drug was a highlight. My wife and I were 4 "rows" back from the center of the elipse. Love and Peace being played right in front of us was the most intense moment of the show. I hope that they never remove "Running to Stand Still" from the set. My wife lost a cousin in Iraq and she had tears streaming down her face during the 'Alelua' part at the end.
Bad is my favorite song and they took it to a new level. I think they played this song for a least 10 minutes with a hint of "40"...then kicking it back into forty.............
See you guys back in Hartford
