Well, This was the second night in a row that I saw the band. I must admit the first show was much better. The band seemed more into it but anyway back to my review of the second show. I was little disappointed that they did not add some surprise to the middle of the set such as "Bad" "Sunday Bloody Sunday" or "Desire" being Boston and the last night on the tour.
Fun lovin criminals came on stage during the karoake with the Edge..they kept saying "this is the edge" just like bono does during Pride. Gone and Last night on earth were great live and my favorite from Pop, PLEASE was great as well. Bono added lines of Grandmaster Flash's "The message" during "Bullet the Blue Sky." It was ironic because my favorite band, the ALARM's lead singer, MIKE PETERS did a cover of that song. (Any ALARM FANS OUT THERE CHECK OUT THIS WEB PAGE http://www.demon.co.uk/alarmpo). Miami, staring at the sun, and discotheque should be dropped just like Even better.... Pride, NY day, all I want is you, and I still haven't ... were highlights. Where the Streets have no name was great but the show was lacking compared to the first night in Boston. After One, Bono Started the Beatle's "Rain" on guitar and then Edge, Larry joined him, they had to grab Adam as he was already heading home to Europe to put his bass back on. This reminded me of the Joshua Tree days when U2 would add a song from the moment ... hopefully those days will come back.
