The first time I saw them was Aug 23, in '92 at foxboro. ZOO TV, I thought that nothing would ever beat that show. That was the first concert that I had ever been to, and up until this summer no show stood up. However, when I ended up in the 19th row that night I knew that I was in for the best ever.
From MOFO to RAIN (BEATLES) I did not sit down or stop singing. The highlights for me were hearing an entire stadium sing STAND BY ME, (I had chills) PLEASE and ONE were incredible, but when Bono added, "..we'll shine like stars..." to WITH OR WITHOUT YOU, I lost it. I knocked my sister of of her chair 'cos I hit her so hard (with enthusiasim). Then when they ended and Bono started with RAIN, I couldn't help but think of 40 and how that was the classic end to a perfect show. RAIN couldn't have been more appropriate or topped. I finally saw a show that beat ZOO TV, but nothing will ever top this one!
