I attended my second u2 concert of my life on April 13 in Vancouver. It was absolutely amazing!!!! From the guys walking onto the stage with the lights still on(so cool)to Bono introducing Larry as "the man who gave me my first job"(my favorite part of the evening) every minute I could not take my eyes off the stage. There was just the right mix of classics(Bad,Pride..) and new stuff(In a little while,Elevation,Stuck in a Moment..) to pump up the entire crowd. The stage was the best idea: heart shaped with the center filled with fans. What a way to feel connected to our favorite band. I think the entire audience left feeling as exhilerated as I did. I loved the POp Mart tour;it was candy for the eyes(huge screens, disco floor stage, giant disco ball) but the Elevation tour was so much more personal, with a sicere "thanks for spending your cash on a rock show" from Bono. All I can end this with is that it was the best concert of my life, from the greatest band in the world.
