The show was as fantastic as it could possibly be considering the material they were touring with. Definitely not as good as the last two stadium tours - elevation and vertigo. Bono does a bit of Stand-By-Me which was awesome, and somewhere they did the Stones Only-Rock-N-Roll. I really unexpectedly loved the euro-dancy version of crazy, even though the original version is my favorite song off the album, and it's the song they highlight in the blackberry commercials. The closer with Moment-Of-Surrender seemed oddly out of tune especially considering how great a song it is out of the rest of the album. Bono comments on breaking anattendance record? - even surpassig the pope. He also jokes about the 27 times they've played Giants Stadium before, but in the most heartbreaking ending he comments as they exit that they "won't be playing here again" ! ack! I was crying for the entire drive home. Does this indicate U2 plan this to be the last tour? It was so hard to hear.
