What an amazing show! The set list was wonderful and, to be honest, I didn't even realize that Mysterious Ways and With or Without You weren't even there until after the show. It just shows you how strong the band's catalog is.
I had only seen U2 back in 1997 during POPMart before this tour (wish I would have caught on earlier!) and thought that show was amazing. This show, however, was even better. I've never even seen a film that could make 2 hours feel like 10 minutes but this show went by so quickly, it was so immersive.
As for what someone said in another review: the Bad & Streets combo is the most amazing combo in rock. Nothing can come close. And with 16,000 people in the arena singing at the top of their lungs (we were very loud! Bono even told us so!)it was even better. I had never seen Bad live before, so when the sequencers started cranking it out my knees nearly buckled and tears started streaming down my face. Bad was always great on the concert videos but is so stunning live.
The end of the concert was amazing too. Bullet was stellar, New York was amazing - and the One/Peace on Earth combo was stirring as tears streamed from my eyes yet again.
Walk on was amazing too. I think U2 has finally found a truly worthy successor to "40" to close their shows with.
Thank you Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam for an amazing show and the most amazing music I've ever heard.
