I had to go to this concert being from Orange County and San Diego is such close proximity. And being the opener of the Veritgo Tour, how much better can it be. It was a great show. Nothing in the spectacular range but hell, it is U2 and U2 don't do bad shows. If only the sound and acoustics were better in the San Diego arena it probably would've made this show more spectacular. I was hoping for City Of Blinding Lights to be the tour opener and I wasn't disappointed. What a start. Great to hear the Boy set of Electric Co., An Cat Dubh and Into The Heart as well. I'm glad New Years Day is still a main stay in the setlist as well. Streets didn't have the same punch as last tours but it still rocked. The new songs from How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb blended in quite nicely with the classics of Sunday Bloody Sunday and Running To Stand Still. Love And Peace Or Else and All Because Of You really stood out for the new tunes. Hearing "40" again closing the show brought me back to my first time seeing these boys in 1984 for The Unforgettable Fire Tour at the Long Beach Sports Arena. Ahhh...what memories.
