WOW! What a performance! It's been
a long time since we last saw U2 in
concert, and this was the finest
performance so far. Even with
the huge TV screens on the stage,
the setup was simple. Bono and the
boys were in high spirits walking
onto the darkened stage.

Then Bono begins the show singing the
very beginning to Zoo Station. At this
point, I couldn't hear myself think.
The energy was unbelievable. The band
played a very tight set. I was quite
amused by the beautiful belly dancer
that Bono flirted with during
Mysterious Ways. Hearing the live
version of one almost brought my
girlfriend to tears. We really enjoyed
Bono and Edge's acoustic versions of
Angel Of Harlem. Bono jokingly
mentioned that the band had played
a local club called JB Scotts...way
back in 1963, and that he couldn't
play guitar then either. And what
a great acoustic tribute to Lou
Reed, as Bono and Edge played
Satellite Of Love.

We really enjoyed singing to Bad and
then was surprised when Bono followed
it up with a short version of All I
Want Is You. Then the Rock & Roll
began, with a very hard version of
Bullet The Blue Sky. Edge's guitar
playing was spectacular.

To make a long story short, this
was a true concert. The band
obviously enjoyed performing and
we loved it.

Thanks U2! During the final song
Love Is Blindness, as I slowly danced
with my beautiful girlfriend, I placed
a diamond ring on her finger and
popped the question. With a bright
smile on her face and tears of joy,
she said yes. Talk about a happy
ending!!
