Well lick my legs I'm on fire!...I was at Hartford and I have to disagree with some earlier posts about Bono's voice. In Hartford his voice was right on hitting all the high notes and the Hartford show was great but being in NYC last night the energy the band put forth was incredible! Though it was obvious that touring is taking a toll on Bono's voice he gave it his all last night like I've never seen before. This was a great, great show and I do agree with the earlier posts about New York City giving the band a little extra fuel. The highlights for me were...Kite, Gone, I Will Follow (the best I've heard this song) and One was performed to perfection last night. The Ramones song " I remember you" was something I was hoping to hear as I mentioned to a very nice couple from Waterbury, Ct. before the show, and also to the couple from Waterbury in section 131 thank you for contributing in a very positive way to my 11 year old daughters first concert, your enthusiasm, non-stop dancing and kindness helped make this night with her one I will never forget! Most of all Thanks to U2 for the greatest show in the greatest city in the world! See you on 6/22.....
