Great show! This was the 1st of 2 shows I'll get to see this leg and it was as advertised.
Getting to see U2 at Madison Square Garden was amazing- they were in top form with all the energy from last time (philly 5/14). The setlist was similar with a few nice surprises- I Will Follow and All I Want is You, along with Original of the Species were great to hear. The top for me was Fast Cars and Whos Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses.
Mary J Blige was an interesting surprise, along with Bono missing the mic while blindfolded. Bono yelling at the guy on the phone ("you're at an f-ing concert" or something similar) was weird, since Bono stopped the show to make a call to Gavin Friday just a little earlier. All the same, he apologized for the outburst and all was forgiven.
All in all, it was a great show and wonderful to see them in NYC!
