3rd show on this tour and 7th overall. Well, where to begin. By far this was the best show that I've seen on this tour, and probably a close second behind the Elevation show in Philly after 9/11. However, like others (and I never thought that I would say this) I think that the band needs to get rid of some of its staple songs. The show started off great. The crowd was really into the songs and the place was electric from the beginning. However, once the band got into SYCMIOYO and through One, the energy level really let up....possibly w/ the exception of Streets. Anyways, I know that a lot of first timers love seeing those songs, but I just think that they have grown somewhat stale recently...especially Bullet the Blue Sky. With that being said, the encore was absolutely fantastic. Walk On, Wild Horses, WOWY...simply mind blowing. Bad....also really great. All in all it was an OUTSTANDING show and despite a little rust on some of the stapled songs, this show had more energy and enthusiasm than most U2 shows I have seen. 9.8 out of 10.
