Well, what can I say. My 4th show of the Vertigo tour and 3rd this week was the best of them all.
Being in the 6th row of section 112, I felt like I could perhaps shake Bono's hand as he pranced down the walkway throughout the night. The person I took to this show, similar to Wednesday's show, had not seen U2 in some time and was completely blown away by the show. She too banged on my shoulder in excitement and told me today she thinks she saw the show twice (she dreamed about the entire show in her sleep last night).
Highlights for me were definitely the encores, as the main set stays pretty much the same each night. I can't think of better song selection than an acoustic Walk On, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and the motherload of great surprises, ending with Bad!!!! Thanks U2, for an unforgettable night of great music.
I hope Pittsburgh on Saturday lives up to this show, whew!
