U2 delivered a performance full of passion, and energy mixed with gentler heartfelt moments. The raw energy of out of control stood alongside the noble world weary kite and offered the crowd both ends of U2's wide spectrum.
I last saw the band live at Wembley on the much maligned Popmart tour and i feel that the things that were lost to some like the passion and the real desire to connect to the audience shone through in this performance.
Highlights for me were out of control, sreets and mysterious ways.
And for those who have read reports saying Bonos voice is shot well he does shy away from certain high notes but the different phrasing and adapted style he uses now certainly dosent detract from the performance.
The goal is elevation and i was elevated.
