Arrived at M.E.N arena around 8pm WITHOUT a ticket,After being in the Heart last night i just had to come and try and see u2 again!Got a ticket no problem within 5 minutes in fact, turned down 2 seats behind the stage (£30 each),got a seat on Adam`s side opposite the tip of the heart for face value (£40)
Tonight`s show had a few changes, good to hear NYD,Out of Control and Pride that really raised the roof! The Charlton Heston video clip before Bullet..was very fitting also the images that were displayed during Edge`s guitar solo it really "hit home"
Bono didn`t seem very talkative tonite, the longest he talked was about Dennis Law a footballer who has played for both Manchester
Football Clubs. One just never worked out i thought he`d missed a verse or was it a technical fault that threw him out ? they got it back but i felt he couldn`t wait to finish the song and he went straight off the stage and never returned for Walk On which was a pity as it`s a great song to finish on.Still a great atmosphere and performance ,Roll on Tuesday and Birmingham!!
