MGM Grand Arena Las Vegas Nevada Nov 5, 2005 This was our second show in Las Vegas. We had floor tickets but none of our tickets scanned us into the Ellipse. Special thanks to Nate for helping us get in.;) Tonights show started as Fridays with City, Vertigo and Elevation. Then it got better as U2 played Mysterious Ways and Bono brought up on stage the girl who stood right in front of me the night before. She did a great job dancing with Bono. We were in the back of the Ellipse where there was room to move around. Next was a Great string of songs with Until the End of the World, I Still Haven't Found right into Beautiful Day and the house was rocking the roof down. Miracle Drug was awesome then Bono took a stroll on the catwalk a bit for Sometimes...after I saw one of the roadies getting ready to set up the tom drum for Love and Peace near the back of the Ellipse catwalk, so I moved into a good spot to get a few great close up pictures of Bono and Larry banging on the drum. Then it was Sunday Bloody Sunday our rock national anthem right into Bullet. Miss Sarajevo next...thank you Bono for the great vocals..then it was Pride, Streets got the place jumping and then Mary J joins Bono in singing ONE...the encore was great with Zoo Station then The Fly followed by my favorite With or Without You during the encore Brandon Flowers came on stage and sang with Bono. To cap off a awesome evening the band finished this amazing show with BAD....thank you U2 this song should always make the set list.....It was a great weekend in Las Vegas had the best time with all of my friends new and old....hadn't been to Las Vegas since 1997 when U2 opened the Pop Mart tour....now we have to figure which will be our next show on this tour...I will post some great pictures I took here and in a future post....more to come....
