I prayed that U2 would finish the show with Bad and wasn't dissapointed. It was absolutely amazing to witness Bono sequeing from Bad into the the "People got the power" chant. It is such a strong ending to the show much better than Yahweh/40.
The no-acoustic encore totally rocked: Zoo Station and then an excellent version of the Fly with Bono on guitar and ending with Bono, Adam and Edge rocking out as they faced Larry who went stratosperic on the drums.
The main set concluded with a massively emotional singing of One by Mary J Blige as she had done during the Katrina benefit.
The MGM was a great place to see the show, much smaller than most of the arenas with the ellipse taking about 60% of the floor.
This was my first time seeing the show from above and I have to say that it was a completely different experience, the runway lighting design is simply spectacular.
PS Bono: sorry for pulling your leg during Electric Co at LA3
