I bet my friend Rama 55 dollars that U2 would switch up the setlist tonight. I won. He has yet to pay me! And what a setlist it was!!!!! What a night! What a show! ZooVertigo! ZooVertigo. Ayyyy, zooooverrrrrtigo.
And yes, it was a return to some classic Achtung/ZOO TV era songs tonight that made our trip from Denver all worthwhile (try sitting in a car in the desert for 849250948358 hours! U2 busted out some rarely-played (at least, as of late) gems, such as End of the World, Zoo Station, Fly, and Mysterious. All were dead-on perfect renditions - and their placement in the running order were pleasant surprises.
Sarajevo rocked, as usual, as did In A Litle While. I try to rank each member of the band for each show I see and tonight The Edge was my favorite. I'd say that happens 99.9 percent of the time.
Anyway, a great show! Go out and see U2 if you can! Don't miss it. Next up is Cleveland. I'll bet 55 dollars Rama loses another bet to me.
