I guess there is really no point in me trying to put this one into words. This my 12th U2 show and 4th of the tour and it was hand down the best show I have seen them put on. Musically, they are as tight as they have been in a LONG time. In the previous 3 shows, I had started to lose that "religious" like feeling I have always gotten at a U2 show. Well it cam back in full force Sat. night.
One gripe...lose Mary J Blige. It was great that they collabterated with her for "one" to help hurricane victims, but her overpowering voice does not fit in with the context that U2 plays it in. I am sure she is talented, but she took one of my favorite songs and butchered it.
