Hi
Went to the show in Cardiff last night. Took my nine year old Daughter. This was my eighth U2 show the first being The Joshua Tree Tour in 1987 & taking in every tour since excluding Lovetown. I was a bit wary as I've heard there were sound problems at previous shows but the sound last night was excellent, much better than at other shows I've seen. The setlist was great especially pleased to hear Mysterious ways. Highlights for me were Unknown Caller, The Unforgattable Fire & Vertigo. Bad was also great & had the feeling this was not orginally supposed to be played. They seem to be able to appeal to everyone from the casual Concert goer who just wants to hear the old hits & also the hardcore fans like myself who would prefer to hear the whole of No Line. Bono was on great form & really seemed to appreciate the crowds singing.
Only gripe was the merchandise stall, had to queue for well over an hour to get a T-shirt for my daughter
Wish I could see them again but probably have to wait another four years. Anyway all the best to the US fans who have all this to come
Rob
