The Molson Centre is an amazing venue to see a concert in. It is very loud and always draws enthusiastic crowds who sing along and really get into the show. It was the loudest Pearl Jam show I saw as well.
U2 was really in top form and I was especialy glad to see a riviting "Bad" in the set.
They sauntered on with the house lights up and ripped "Elevation". Bono was having a great night taunting and challenging the crowd, playing. He took a camera from a fan near me and took pictures of himself and the fans. The flash didn't go so I don't know if he actually got any pictures but if he did, they're good ones for that fan!
He also took a pair of sunglasses from someone and played with his reflection in them before putting them on. Later Bono introduced the band as "Spice Girls" and Larry "Baby Spice" came out first, grinning to thunderous cheers.
The four screens above the stage, each one focused on a band member in high contrast black and white were very effective. And the lighting was incredible especially the patterns splayed across the audience.
Highlights for me were "Elevation", "Until the End of the World" and "Bad" but it was hard to find highlights the show was so great right through.
And the crowd was LOUD.
