Comparing the song lists of the two Helsinki gigs leads to suspect I would have enjoyed the Friday event more: New Years Day and a couple of tracks from my favourite album, Achtung Baby, were left out. I really should have attended both concerts. On the plus side, there were Pride and I Will Follow. I realize the songs on Pop are not good live material, but Please would be wonderful to hear. No material from Zooropa either, which I dont mind. The audience were ecstatic from beginning to end, the highlights obviously being the three opening tracks from Joshua Tree. I myself have no nostalgia for that album, as it strangely happened that even though I liked some of their early material at the time, I completely missed Joshua Tree as I did not listen to music at that time. I found the sound quality terrible in the A block, and I think it was the same in all quarters. The music was just too loud, without ear plugs I would certainly have lost my hearing. A couple of songs were played more silent and they sounded better.
