What a fantastic evening my new husband and I had watching U2 in Seville. The Spanish fans certainly know how to enjoy themselves, the atmosphere was amazing, with everyone singing along at the top of their voices to most of the set. They were also very well behaved, no drunks banging into you, spilling beer over you, as one often experiences at concerts in the UK. I have been going to watch every tour this amazing band has done since 1984(except the Elevation tour, which I could not get tickets for!) and they just get better! We travelled from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire having just got married on 25/09/2010. We decided to have our honeymoon in wonderful Seville, especially so I could go to see U2.
My husband used to like the early U2 songs, but has never been a huge fan. However, after last Thursday evening, he has finally agreed that U2 are a brilliant live act as good as anyone he has seen which includes ACDC, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney etc. Something I never thought I would hear him say!
I just want to thank the band for an amazing night and making our honeymoon extra special.
I can't stop thinking about the concert, it was just brilliant! Hope to see you again soon.
