From the moment when the band walked onstage durning the opening riff of Elevation to the last cord of WAlk On the Pepsi Arena never felt an energy like it did for the worlds biggest and best rock band.
Bono, feeling ill, made himself larger than life. Pulling in every member of the audience as if they were right next to him.
Walking on stage with the house lights on was a dramatic contrast to the entrance of the early 90's Zoo Tv and the later 90's Pop Mart tour. Dressing down , but looking every bit like the rock star monster that he is, Bono potrayed many different emotions to the sold out crowd.
The highlight of the show included new songs such as Kite, New York, and the Grammy Award winning Beautiful Day. New takes on The Fly and WIth or With Out You brought the the show up even higher.
Going to the first Boston show on Wednesday and cant wait. Last nights concert was one of the greatest rock and roll moments in the last 20 years.
