My first U2-show ever. We arrived at 11 A.M. to make sure we'll had a good place. At 4 P.M. the gates opened and we sprinted to the front. Result: I lost my friends and spent the whole day on my own. But once PopMuzik started I forgot everything and had a wonderfull evening. What a show!!! Bono mentionned something about 'Herman'(Herman Scheuremans, organisator of the festival Torhout/Werchter, which made U2 big in Belgium AND U2 made the festival big!!!) and about 'Walter' (Walter Van Beirendonck, the Belgian designer of the clothes U2 was wearing during the PopMart-tour). He also thanked the Belgian crew members for working so hard with their hairdryers. They used them for drying the big screen: not only the clothes, but also the screen and the stage were Belgian!!! How a small country can be big!
Two more shows to come for me, hopefully I don't lose my friends then!
