The show was nothing short of fantastic. Not sure about my hometown crowd - which was lame and for the most part too worried about looking cool or getting the perfect photo or video ... I was in the highest priced seats ( $250 ) and the only place I sensed people were experiencing "lift off" was right at the foot of the stage on the floor. It was a crowd of film festival freaks - just being there becuase it was the place to be. Sad, really. But they are entitled, certainly. As much as I am entitled to be there.
The boys played their hearts out. The stage and sound were amazing.Bono sang his heart out. I sang my heart out. Hugely impressive show. They are nothing short of spectacular in their efforts with their music and live visuals, etc. The roof being open was magical - with the stage and CN Tower all lit up! magical night. Just took some extra effort to tune out the apathetic others around me. Don't miss this tour. Youtube does it no justice. It is the best show on earth - just see it anywhere but Toronto!
