Went to the second TO show and in a word BRILLIANT!! U2 were on fire the moment they took the stage. Bono even quipped "this is our second show...the first night was a warm-up...tonight..things are gonna take off..." and man did they ever. The crowd was pumped and the boys just fed off our energy.
Had my doubts going into the show, but was completely blown away. Bono's vocals were spot on, Edge was Edge - amazing!! Adam and Larry were such a powerhouse tonight. Larry really pounded the skins near the end of Streets. Adam's bass has really been brought to the forefront on this tour - Magnificent really shows highlights his bass expertise.
Still not completely sold on the remix of Crazy..but man what a groove it was. Also never cared much for Boots, but it absolutely rocked tonight as did Vertigo. I was blown away by these 2 songs.
Unforgettable Fire was brilliant as was Ultra violet light!! These 2 classics should stay on the set list. Sunday Bloody Sunday - was powerful tonight!!
Never thought they could top Zoo TV - but I think U2 have on this tour!!
Unbelievable show and from the fan reviews I read about the first show, I think the 2nd show was by far the better of the two.
How long to sing this song...hopefully for a little while longer. Thanks for a great show.
