Absolutely INCREDIBLE. U2 is a band for the ages with astonishing talent and we are back to the roots of good music. The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. truly keep the rhythm going. Spectacular. 'Beautiful Day' brought the crowd into the game. 'Bad' really brought down the house and was reminiscent of great musical editions such as from Band Aid. And that was just a warm up for 'Where the Streets Have No Name'. Bono really outshined himself with just good singing with awesome backup from the rest of the guys. The most enduring for me will be the heartfelt rendition of 'Sweetest Thing'. Bono really brought the crowd in on that one. This crowd had rhythm and style.
I sat in the third row upper deck just off stage end. What a view. We looked straight down on the action. The heart is the talk of the tour and does not disappoint.
And U2 gives us lessons for the ages. Stick with the basics and you can do anything. You have to be good if you want to be 'Bad'. Bono thanked San Jose and the Almighty. I agree.
