One word: Amazing! I've been a die hard fan for years but have never gone to a u2 concert until last night. My best friend came with me (she's not a big u2 fan as i am) but after seeing the "light" she's been converted.
PJ Harvey was good, not great. I would've liked to see her play more songs, including Kamikaze. She rocked the house as best she could to a half-full audience. But amazingly, after her performance, the arena got jammed packed with people.
U2. What a splendid performance. Absolutely amazing. It left me physically, emotionally, and spiritually drained. They played the best rendition of With or Without You and Sunday Bloody Sunday i've heard in a while. They brought the house down with Streets and Bad and played a very touching Walk On and In a Little While.
Only qualms about the show? the feeding frenzy for merchandise.
