well, I'm a little late for this one, but I've been away from my computer for a while...
This show was incredible. I was just to the right of the heart in the seats, so I had an amazing view of the show and the band. I was really impressed by the simplicity of the stage compared to the last few tours. A big production can be fun, but U2 has never had to rely on gimmicks and props to fire up a crowd. All we need is Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam.
I was super pumped that they played the sweetest thing, it's been one of my favorites for years, but I wished they'd played the older version, not the new 'sounds like a jingle for a commercial' one. The set was extra impressive, but no Wild Horses or All I want is you. When will they learn = )
oh, and I managed to get all my pals floor seats the day of the show, so they weren't stuck in the upper deck behind the stage. you guys can thank me later...
