one of the most amazing experiences of my life. This is my 3rd U2 concert (Elevation 11-19-01, Vertigo 1st leg)... and Wow.
They played every song I could have wished for. Literally throughout the night U2 exceeded my expectations and blew me away. I think the crowd's energy was amazing. Bono himself said "amazing" several times in response to the crowd.
All the songs were really amazing...
some special stuff that was new to me...
Miss Sarajevo - Bono was amazing, such strength
Walk On (acoustic) - not only my favorite song, but a whole group of us were chanting "Walk On" after their last song.
They even came back for a second encore:
All Because of You and Bad
From what I can tell... this has been one of the best sets they've had. It's crazy... usually if they play Walk On they dont do Bad... It might just be me... but this night was SUPER amazing. Wow. I'm still in shock... so good. =) If you haven't been to a U2 concert, go!!! Two words... LIFE CHANGE
Shoutouts:
- to the girl who Bono picked up... i have some decent footage of you and bono. you have my number, call me.
- to rob - the virgin concert goer =)
- girl next to us (crazy U2 fan) and drunk friend, thanks for being so friendly
