This was my third U2 show; Zoo TV and Popmart were the others. Although those shows where majestic monstrosities, Elevation was pure and fresh, like a Beautiful Day ;-P. This was by far the best U2 show I’ve ever been to, and I was in the nose bleed-seats at the T-Dome (not the best place for concerts due to acoustics, but U2 was able to balance their sound). I really got into the music and carried on, I’m typically more subdued. There was even a time during Sunday, Bloody Sunday I almost cried due to the shear amount of emotion and energy coming from the boys, it was kind of a “life flashes before your eyes” moment and all the memories over the years with U2 came rushing to me, and here they were 300 feet in front of me. It was cool, like a church experience when you get saved for the first time.
My only regret is not buying tickets for the Vancouver and Portland shows.
