Welcome back to the U of MN. 1983 War Tour brought U2 to Northrop Auditiorium when I was 18. My ticket was about 18 bucks. 2011 brought a 4am alarm clock, lineup in the GA line (155-158) at 530a, and we weathered the morning storms, afternoon heat and into the TCF Bank we ran. My son Ryan (15 and his 3rd tour) and his Buddy Brock (15), Colin and I got to the center outside rail and were so pumped. That was our goal for 2 years after being in the circle previously.

The show was unreal. Yes it rained. Man it poured and U2 Forged on in a manner I was blown away by. I spent a lot of time watching Dallas and Edge work and in this downpour they were amazing. Talent beyond. Edge's remote went out during UTEOTW so he went back to main stage and they quickly plugged him in.

Adam, Shirtless and RIPPED walked through the pouring rain so smooth.

Bono made a good point about Mpls being the original last show for the 360 tour. He said now this is the best place to End of Tour Party and yes they did.

GA line and Mpls TCF U of M security were very smooth.

U2 is on top of their game at the 108th show with 2 more. After seeing shows since 1982 this one tops them all... the rain and wind and storms only enhanced it.. (Purple Rain into Streets was off the charts)

Really wanted Out of Control after MOS. No worries boys... you tore it up.. Thanks U2.

And Thanks to Dallas for coming up to us and sticking Edge's Telecaster guitar out to my son Ryan during soundcheck. Dallas is an amazing tech.
