Things tend to get rowdy when U2 play Boston, and often the crowd seems to think that any show they play at any time, if it's in Boston, will be amazing.
Tonight was not nearly as amazing as the many other shows I have seen on this tour. In fact, it was one of the worst. The only thing that saved it was Crumbs From Your Table, a song they seldom play and is probably one of the best they have ever written. Glad they brought it back for us tonight - it was magnificent. Also, Instant Karma isn't a good cover song for the band. Larry isn't really in the pocket on this one and gets lost in the groove. Tonight's version was awful.
I still did enjoy myself and the show was good... just not one of their best (as a random drunken Bostonian might boast).
