This was my first U2 concert and all I can say is that it was brilliant. Popmart was everything I expected and more. The band was in top form, especially The Edge, who went off on incredible solos a number of times. Most notably Bullet The Blue Sky. Bono's voice was right on the money as was Larry and Adam.
Some favorite moments:
1. The entrance through the crowd. What an energizer!
2. Until the End of The World. My personal favorite U2 song was played so powerful it was almost beyond belief. Edge and Bono were fantastic at the climatic ending.
3. The above mentioned Bullet the Blue Sky. Incredible. Watch for the spotlights.
4. The lemon. Need I say more?
5. The new songs were great. Especially Last Night on Earth, Gone, and Please.
6. Hold Me, Thrill Me. . . THIS SONG RIPPED!!!!!
7. Mysterious Ways and One. I can't think of a better way to end.
This is a tour not to be missed. If you don't have tickets, what are you waiting for? The concert was an unforgettable event.
