The Boy Tour - Massive crowd in the Ulster Hall to see U2 and was amazed at how far they had come in less than a year after the QUB gig on 1st Feb. I was mad about their music at this stage after the U2-3 and the release of Boy. Words cant describe how raw and brilliant songs like I will follow and Out of Control were back then. We managed to get backstage to chat to the band after the gig and they were just four down to earth lads from Dublin enjoying life. I got their autographs on the back of the ticket and treasured this until our dog chewed it! Treasured memories but no mobile phones back then to record the occasion.
