This concert was amazing. My only previous U2 concert had been a Pop Mart concert at Soldier Field. I enjoyed it, but was a mile away and felt no connection to the band. At the United Center, for the first time I felt U2 as truly a spiritual experience. It is a wonderful venue for a 25,000 seat arena. I also thought the set list was amazing. Loved hearing a great version of The Fly followed by EBTRT. I didn't see a Zoo TV concert, but between this amazing 2001 concert and the Zoo TV encore on Vertigo, I have now experienced a bit! I have never been a huge fan of I Still Haven't Found, but this spontaneous acoustic version was great. I happened to be at the first two Elevation concerts to feature ISHFWILF, here and South Bend. If you get a chance to see U2 at the United Center, do it!
