Well - tonight was my 40th show to date and I was wondering how tonights show could possibly top last nights show. It all began at the band members arrived at the stadium - They all showed up late and no one got out of the vehicles to meet and greet the fans. Bono actually didnt arrive till almost 5:30 pm which was way after the sound check. Got to chat with some fans at the gate who had emailed me earlier today to find out where and what time they should be inorder to possibly meet the band. David - if your out there reading this - I am sorry that you didn't get to see them or meet them today!!!!!

The set list from tonight:
City of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
Elevation
The Electric Co.
The Ocean
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
Beautiful Day
Miracle Drug
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
Yahweh
Love and Peace or Else
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet the Blue Sky
Miss Sarajevo
Pride
Where the Streets Have No Name
One

Encores:

Bad - The First Time
Original of the Species
With or Without You - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Fast Cars
All Because of You
40

They once again shook it up and added one of the most beautiful songs ever written - Who's Gonna Ride Your Wide Horses as well as Original of the Species and Fast Cars. I knew I was in for a special treat on my special day when Edge started to pluck out Bad cords, something was up as it was the first encore song. Bono brought up a female audiance member for all of Fast Cars to dance with who "has no name". Then right into All Because of You and for my special 40th show I got to hear 40 close out the night - what more could I ask for.

Oh the one problem I did have - I had excellent seats which don't get much better except for the hillbilly that was right infront of me at about 6'8 and a 4' wide back and his head was oversized and had a 10 gallon hat on top blocking half of section 113.

Thanks to Queen Oprah!

No Doctors or Nurses thanked tonight but the story about Edge landing in his space ship back in Dublin arriving from the future.

Bravo boys for putting on an amazing show tonight and closing out Chicago in a style that no one should ever forget!!!
