A thoroughly exhilarating show last night. We were near the top of the ellipse just outside the bomb shelter and the energy the boys showed was simply amazing. The Edge rocked out the entire time and Bono's voice sounded good, a little tired at times, but overall very good. They used the ellipse more than in the show I saw here in Philly in May. Seeing The Edge and Bono do an acoustic Stuck in a Moment from about eight feet away is something I will never forget.
I have to disagree with “B’s” review of this show. I thought the band was very engaged with the audience the entire time and did not seem – in any way – like they were going through the motions.
