I wasn't expecting too much tonight not being a fan of the new album, last tour or in fact anything they'd done for a while. I went for old time sake and I'm glad I did. The giant 'claw' set works beautifully in a stdium setting, we had a great view without much effotrt and the staging was spectacular. The music matched too, I'm still not convinced of the newe album but live it worked well enough, the old songs still kicked liked nothing else and there were some really powerful moments. Until The End Of The World is a personal favorite and was superb. Streets was spectacular, One amazing and Bad breathtaking. U2's fans do seem really segregated between old and new now bu they balanced it well and Pride brought them together. I can't praise the set design enough, some really nice, clever touches like the green, white and orange lighting state in Sunday Bloody Sunday. Ultra Violet took me back to August 1993 back at the old Wembley and With Or Without you was fantastic. Saw some old friends tonight and couldn't of had a better evening.
