After dreaming of this for almost 9 years, I finally saw U2 for the first time of my life in London - AND IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!
I got to Wembley around 12:00 and so somehow I managed to get into the inner circle. I stood on Edge's side, 5th row from the stage, which was totally brilliant.
The show was amazing! Unbelievably brilliant, all that I dreamed of and much more!
I feel like I had the best set list of the tour so far, as U2 played so many songs I love and I didn't expect them to play like Stay, Until the End of the World, The Unforgettable Fire (Because they played it at the night before at Wembley), Bad and New Year's Day.
I cried so much in this concert! Especially during One and Stay, two of my favorite U2 songs.
Breathe is a great show's opener, hearing Sunday Bloody Sunday live was more than brilliant, as well as Beautiful Day which was the song that got me into U2. The beginning was great, but that was the moment when the concert really took off, and it didn't come down even for a moment until the end it.
The sing-a-long of 88,000 fans to I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For was one of the most amazing moments of my life; I've no words to describe how great it was.
Unknown Caller wasn't one of my favorite songs of the new album, but it's one of most emotional parts of the concert and it was amazing and it made like this song more than before.
The City Of Blinding Lights - Vertigo - I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight bit I call the party part of the concert, and it was freaking amazing and awesome and just fun, fun, fun! The I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight remix is great live and Bono came to our side and did a sing-s-long with us and I felt like I was in a dream, the most beautiful dream ever.
Highlights of the concert - Everything.
But a bit more specific were Stay, which was a surprise and was so amazing that even when I think of it my eyes begin to get a little misty.
I was a bit tired of With or Without You but it was amazing and it was one of the best moments of the concert.
Seeing Edge playing the keyboard and the guitar in New Year's Day, and he did an excellent job. Everyone was brilliant! Seeing the best guitar player in the world right in front of me, playing all of the brilliant U2 riffs was something I would never forget. Larry and Adam were of course brilliant as well.
And Bono, ho Bono. He was on top form. I was afraid that he would have a lot of troubles sings some of the songs because he doesn't have the voice he used to have, but his voice was heavenly! The voice that been with me for so many years and live, and so beautiful.
Ultraviolet was also one of the best parts of the concert, a great performance of the song, together with Bono’s awesome laser jacket and the round microphone.
The best moment of the night was One beyond doubt! It was the best 4:30 minutes of my life, especially with Bono adding the “Do you see us coming” bit.
Moment of Surrender was a great, emotion sucking, tear jerking song to end this spectacular concert with, ending the best two and half hours of my entire life, leaving me in complete shock, feeling in a dream and wanting to see my favorite band for as much times as I can as long as I can.
