With just two days left until the second leg of the Experience + Innocence tour, U2 had what was almost a full rehearsal Wednesday night at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. In the process, they answered a few questions about what would change as the show transitions from North America to Europe.
Fortunately, the good folks at U2tour.de were tweeting as it happened, and here's what they were able to hear from outside the arena:
"Lights Of Home"
"I Will Follow" (stopped and restarted)
"Red Flag Day"
"Sunday Bloody Sunday"
"Until The End Of The World"
(intermission video - "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me")
"Even Better Than The Real Thing"
"You're The Best Thing About Me"
"Summer Of Love" (Bono and Edge acoustic)
"Get Out Of Your Own Way"
"New Year's Day"
"City Of Blinding Lights"
"Summer Of Love" (twice)
If you followed the first leg of the tour, you know that looks similar to the main and second sets ... but there are a few notable changes: "Even Better Than The Real Thing" was rehearsed in the spot where "Desire" was played before, "Summer Of Love" replaced "Staring At The Sun" and "New Year's Day" was rehearsed in place of "American Soul." If those changes stay in place on opening night Friday, it would be
- the first performance of "Even Better..." since the end of the I+E tour in 2015
- the first tour performance of "Summer Of Love" (Bono and Edge played it on June 30 during an invite-only performance for a Boston-area radio station)
- the second performance of "New Year's Day" in 2018 (it was played once on the first leg, in St. Louis)
Since tonight's rehearsal wasn't a full run-through, we're guessing that the band will rehearse again on Thursday.

(Note: "The Blackout" has been added after the fact, it was the first song rehearsed. "Summer Of Love" was not played full-band as this article originally stated. U2BR.com tells us it was Bono & Edge acoustic, just as they did for "Staring At The Sun" on the first leg.)
