U2 will perform a free show in London this Saturday, November 11, that's being billed as a pre-party for the MTV European Music Awards the following day.
The concert will take place in London's Trafalgar Square and U2 will be one of several acts performing. There's no charge and you can register for the ticket lottery online until 10 PM (London time) Tuesday night. Winners will be notified on Wednesday and given a chance to reserve up to two tickets.
No word how long U2 will perform, but one of the band's songs will be aired Sunday night during the telecast of the 2017 MTV EMAs. In addition, U2 will collect the Global Icon award during the awards show on Sunday night at SSE Arena, Wembley.
UPDATE November 7: U2.com sent out emails to local fans that suggested the band would be playing a 40-minute set on Saturday. Also, David Guetta is confirmed as one of the other acts on the bill.
