U2's The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 is nominated three times at the upcoming Billboard Touring Awards. The tour picked up nominations in these categories:
- Top Tour
- Top Draw
- Top Boxscore (Stade de France, Paris, July 25-26)
U2's competition in the first two categories is Coldplay and Guns N' Roses. In the third category, the competition is Guns N's Roses (London Stadium, June 16-17) and Phish (Madison Square Garden, New York, July 21-Aug. 6).
U2 previously won Top Tour and Top Draw in 2005, 2010 and 2011. The band picked up Top Boxscore in 2005 and 2009 for its shows at Croke Park in Dublin on the Vertigo and 360 tours, respectively.
The 2017 awards will be announced as part of Billboard's annual touring conference, which happens this year on November 14-15 in Beverly Hills.
